LaShunta Boler

LaShunta “Shun” White-Boler (she/her) is the chief programs officer at Woodlawn United. A native of Birmingham, Alabama, she is a powerhouse of vision, leadership, and service – a devoted wife, mother of six, and a dynamic advocate for people and communities. As an attorney, mediator, social worker, facilitator, organizer, community liaison, and owner of a thriving social wellness agency, Shun helps families and individuals navigate life’s complex challenges. Whether resolving legal disputes, guiding communities toward greater social and emotional well-being, or empowering individuals through education and advocacy, she is a relentless champion for justice and holistic wellness.

Shun serves as a board member for the I³ (Imagine, Investigate, Innovate) Academy Network, Determined to Be Mentoring and Leadership Program, and KAYA Empowerment Circle. She uses her leadership to influence policies and systems that impact children/students, parents/families, educators, and those working to improve the quality of life for all. Shun is a past fellow of the Opioid-Impacted Family Support Program and Behavior Health Workforce Training Program and WE Lead.  She is a graduate of Miles Law School, Alabama A&M University, University of West Alabama, and Huffman High School.
