Each cohort of Mosaic Fellows represents an intergenerational, intersectional and interdisciplinary group of outstanding leaders of color. Our goal is to bring together a group of Fellows as diverse as the mosaic of our communities.

Nominee Basic Eligibility

All statements must be true for your nominee:

1. The nominee self-identifies as Black, Indigenous, Latine, Asian American Pacific Islander, or other person of color.

2. The nominee lives and works in the American South (for the Mosaic Fellowship South) or in Tennessee (for the Mosaic Fellowship Tennessee)

3. The nominee has a demonstrated track record of advancing social, economic, political, environmental and racial justice for at least 10 years.

4. The nominee, whether they come from the nonprofit, public or private sectors, is leading change in spaces such as education, health, civil rights, community development, arts, urban design, environment, etc.

5. The nominee is an established or emerging leader who has reached a professional tipping point, and is seeking to reflect, deepen their impact and broaden their network of support.

6. The nominee has a track record of high integrity, maturity, openness and dependability.
