Eric Fancher Jr.

Eric Morris Fancher, Jr. (he/him) is counsel and compliance officer at Navigate Affordable Housing Partners, where he has led legal operations, real estate transactions, compliance oversight, and risk management in support of mission-driven affordable housing work. He devotes his career to strengthening communities through housing, development, and public service.

Before joining Navigate, Eric spent more than nine years with the City of Birmingham, including as administrator of the Birmingham Land Bank Authority, Alabama’s first fully operational municipal land bank. In that role, he advanced land bank operations, policy, organizational effectiveness, and revitalization programming, while helping drive statewide land bank reform and neighborhood-based vacant property reuse across the city. Eric lives in Birmingham's historic Norwood neighborhood with his wife and two daughters, where they restored a 100-year-old home as part of a shared commitment to neighborhood reinvestment. He enjoys spending time outdoors with his daughters, whether carrying hiking backpacks, pushing strollers, or sharing his love of music, grilling, and community.
