Cheryl Green

Cheryl Green (she/her) is the managing director of the Aspen Young Leaders Fellowship (AYLF), where she informs AYLF strategy, and ensures the design and implementation of culturally responsive programming for youth (18-22) in Chicago, MS Delta, Miami, Newark and St. Louis. At her core, Cheryl is an educator having served as a teacher, principal and district leader in multiple school districts. After 10 years living and working as an educator in Mississippi, Cheryl moved to Memphis and took on multiple roles with New Leaders, Inc. and later Insight Education Group. Since 2015, Cheryl has used her expertise in organizational development to lead her own consulting practice. Her work is centered on creating systemic change, resolving conflict, helping teams work more efficiently and moving projects from strategy to action. Cheryl has a bachelor’s degree in secondary education from Alabama A&M University, a master’s degree from Delta State University and is certified in the field of human systems dynamics.
