Kelly Hill

Kelly Hill (she/her) is dedicated to strengthening systems that serve children, families, and communities. Recently, she worked with Vanderbilt University and University of Tennessee teams to support Tennessee's child welfare system through database management, program evaluation, and process improvement. She has also managed and implemented federal grants in violence prevention, public health, and human trafficking. She is a cofounder of OPAWL—Building AAPI Feminist Leadership, a grassroots, member-led organization dedicated to social justice and elevating the voices of Asian American and Pacific Islander women, nonbinary, and trans people in Ohio.  Currently, Kelly serves on the Rutherford County Democratic Party Executive Committee. Kelly grew up in Arkansas and attended Hendrix College. She earned graduate degrees in education policy and religion and conflict transformation from Vanderbilt University and Boston University. She is a proud mom who strives to keep up with her toddler’s fiery spirit and endless energy each day.
