Andrea Jacobo (she/her) is a visiting assistant professor at Rhodes College within the Urban Studies-Health Equity Program. With 10 years of community health experience, Andrea has implemented various evidence-based nutrition and physical activity programs across the lifespan and co-led communities of practice focused on health equity. She has facilitated efforts to create national health equity legislation to build capacity to address racial health inequities experienced by communities of color. Andrea has a Doctorate of Public Health degree from UC Berkeley. She has a Masters of Public Health from The University of Memphis and Bachelors of Science in exercise physiology from the University of Miami.
