Antoinette King
Antoinette King (she/her) is chief of staff to Birmingham City Councilor Josh Vasa, where she oversees strategic planning, community engagement, legislative coordination, and cross-department collaboration to advance equitable policy and neighborhood-focused solutions. She is a servant leader and public-sector innovator committed to building safer, more connected communities in Birmingham, Alabama. With over eight years of municipal experience, Antoinette previously served as senior project manager in the Chief’s office at the Birmingham Police Department and held leadership roles in emergency communications and operations. A graduate of Leadership Shelby County and the PBJC MPACT Cohort, she also serves as an assistant to the security leader at Love City Church, supporting safety planning and coordination. Antoinette is currently pursuing a B.S. in business administration at Faulkner University and is driven by a belief that effective leadership begins with service and community trust.
