Brandy Rogers

Brandy A. Rogers (sher/her) is a multi-disciplinary artist with a background in spoken word, theater, dance, writing and teaching. Her work - featured in workshops, on stage and in various creative outlets - reflect personal and collaborative authenticity. "Life cannot be lived," she believes,  "without connecting and relying on one another." A former member of Blue Moves Modern Dance Company in Nashville, he crafts her work - in all its iterations - with humor, fun and truth-telling and prioritizes a collective identity - the "we" - above the singularity of "I." Brandy has worked with youth and led programs on restorative practices. She is the creator of "Stolen: African Myths Turned American" and the designer of "Project 24," a performance exploration of the human need for relationships.
