Wilalberto De Los Santos
Wilalberto De Los Santos (he/him/el) is a program manager with Student Organizations, Leadership and Service (SOLS) at Vanderbilt University. He onboards student organizations and their advisors by connecting them with resources that help them make a positive impact in their community. Wil has served in higher education for 17 years. Previously, he encouraged student leaders to recognize their value and maximize their experiences through teaching, academic advising, program development and student orientation. Today, he empowers student leaders, faculty, and staff to make meaning of their efforts through student involvement and CliftonStrengths coaching. His work is most meaningful when his students overcome challenges and setbacks. Wil cultivated his leadership attributes at the University at Albany where he earned his master’s degree in Africana Studies and the State University of New York at New Paltz where he earned his bachelor’s degree in Radio/Television Production and Black Studies. His most rewarding role is building a beautiful life with his wife, Shelly and their sons Bryce and Wesley in Nashville, Tennessee.
