Rachael Spriggs

Rachael Spriggs (she/her) is the director of power building at The Equity Alliance and The Equity Alliance Fund. A transformative leader in the fight for racial equity and justice, she has more than 15 years of professional expertise in youth advocacy, community organizing, and program management.  A proud native of Memphis and a graduate of the University of Maryland Eastern Shore, Rachael champions initiatives that empower Black and Brown communities and is deeply committed to dismantling systemic white supremacy.


Recognized by the Memphis Business Journal as a “Woman Who Leads" recipient and a graduate of Leadership Memphis, Rachael is the visionary head of the largest Black voter mobilization program in Tennessee. She oversees direct engagement with 3.5 million working-class Black and Brown voters, ensuring their voices are heard in the political process. Rachael co-founded G.A.M.E. Changers, a mentorship program aimed at developing leadership and character in Black youth from underserved communities. This initiative, led in partnership with her husband, is creating a new generation of empowered, socially conscious leaders. Rachael considers her role as a mother to her two children her most cherished accomplishment, as they inspire her daily drive to build a more just and equitable future.
