Kristy Sullivan
Kristy Sullivan (she/her) is a partner of community coalitions and cross-sector partnerships at The New Teacher Project (TNTP). She has extensive experience in project and client management, as well as in family, community, and stakeholder engagement. For over 15 years, Kristy has led various initiatives with school districts and charter management organizations aimed at developing strategies for family and community engagement and designing human capital processes that support student achievement.
She oversees the team responsible for expanding community-driven design and cross-sector coalition efforts, and she is dedicated to advancing TNTP's mission of transforming education in every community to help every young person thrive.
A native of Memphis, Kristy is passionate about children and community service. She is actively involved in several service and advocacy organizations, including her local church, the NAACP Memphis Branch, and Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. Proudly calling herself a “Mom On A Mission,” Kristy and her husband are the parents of two lovely daughters.
