Terrence Wilson

Terrence Wilson (he/him) is a civil rights advocate and policy strategist dedicated to building an equitable public education system across the U.S. South. As regional policy and community engagement director at IDRA (Intercultural Development Research Association), he leads efforts to dismantle the school-to-prison pipeline and ensure every student has access to a just and inclusive education. Terrence directs the Southern Education Equity Network (SEEN) in Texas and Georgia, connecting educators, advocates, and communities to advance transformative change in schools. A Richmond, Virginia native and Morehead-Cain Scholar at The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, he holds a J.D. and M.P.A. from the University of Georgia and is driven by the belief that lasting policy change begins with community power and collective vision.
