Action Research for Programs that Change Lives with Robyn Brookshire (MO’24)
Participatory Action Research (PAR) models offer a way for justice-focused leaders to explore meaningful questions about their programs in collaboration with the communities they serve. This introductory session will help fellows understand how action research can strengthen storytelling, document real impact, critically evaluate programs, and build equitable partnerships. Together, we’ll consider how inquiry can become a tool for reflection, strategy, and sustainability in mission-driven work.
Trust, Repair, and Solidarity with Amber Banks’ (MO’23)
How do we practice solidarity in ways that are meaningful, sustainable, and rooted in trust? This interactive workshop shift the paradigm on trust and repair to move us closer to solidarity. Using practical frameworks and embodied trust practices, participants will engage in discussion and small group dialogue to identify barriers and opportunities for building trust and practicing solidarity.

In this interactive, real-talk session, led by Naseem Khuri, you will explore how you tend to manage differences with others, uncover the hidden assumptions that can trip you up when trying to influence, and learn fresh tools to meet differences with curiosity and skill. Through lively exercises and candid dialogue, you will expand your approach, sharpen your instincts, and grow your confidence to turn tension into trust and collaboration.
